Pin #91: Atlanta Olympic City

What do you know, another Atlanta Olympic pin.  This one represents Olympic City, which was a fan zone during the Olympics.  It also features Izzy, the mascot.  It's honestly kind of an ugly pin, but I like all of my Atlanta pins because they really started my Olympic pin craze.  So I even keep the ugly ones on my board.

Pin #90: Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

I got this pin during a trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in my hometown of Simi Valley, California.  I've been there a few times since I lived right there.  It's kind of cool have a Presidential Library in your hometown.  It still kind of amazes me that Reagan put it in Simi Valley, but I like it.  This pin has the US and California flags with the presidential seal in the middle.  It's a good looking pin for what it is, and I'm proud to represent the SV.

Pin #89: Atlanta Centennial Olympics

Yet another Atlanta Olympics pin, this one commemorating the centennial anniversary of the Olympic games.  The first Olympic games were held in 1896, so Atlanta had the privilege of hosting the centennial.  And I have the pleasure of getting a pin that celebrates it.

Pin #88: Mandalay Bay

I bought this pin when I stayed at the Mandalay Bay in the summer of 2006.  The Mandalay is the perfect place to stay in Vegas during the summer.  The pool area is phenomenal!  And there are so many pools that you can easily find one that isn't very crowded so you can just lay out and relax during the day, while staying cool.  Plus, the lazy river is pretty awesome.  The pin simply features the M logo in black on a pewter background.  It's not flashy, which seems anti-Vegas, but that's why I like it.

Pin #87: Izzy II

Yet another Atlanta Olympics pin featuring the really weird mascot, Izzy.  He looks drunk or stoned in this pin, so I'm not sure exactly what they were going for when they designed it.  But he has stars in his eyes and a goofy smile.  It's all very awkward.  And there are a lot more Olympic pins to come so brace yourself.

Pin #86: Nationals Park

This is another pin from my East Coast ballpark tour in 2008.  I visited Nationals Park in Washington D.C.  They had this cool looking pin with the ballpark and Capitol Building and Washington Monument in the background.  Unfortunately, the game I went to was marred by rain delays, so I didn't get to see a full game.  But I did get to walk around the park a little bit.  It's a nice park, but I wouldn't put it in my top five.  I do like the pin, though.

Pin #85: NAPO Conference - Denver

My mom is part of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).  A few years ago they had their national conference in Denver and my mom brought a pin back for me.  It's kind of a hard to read pin, but at least the city stands out.  Otherwise, there is nothing very special about this pin and I don't have any particular fondness for it.
